Kimberly Ahmadi, MA, LMFT, Owner/Lead Therapist
I started my journey as a Marriage and Family therapist 13 years ago. Since then I have worked with individuals, couples, and families with a variety of challenges: depression/anxiety, trauma, grief, addiction, broken relationships and many others. I especially enjoy working with individuals and also take special interest in working with the LGBTQ+ community. I lean toward using person-centered, humanistic, and existential approaches keeping in mind that you are the expert in you and your life, and I am the expert in providing guidance that includes identifying and focusing on your strengths, experiences, and goals so you can improve your overall health, well-being, and peace of mind.
I moved to Tucson 28 years ago and have spent those years gathering friends and creating a family that inspires me to be and do my best everyday. I LOVE dogs (and sometimes cats), my brilliant wife, and our two adult "children." I build stuff, and spend a lot of time in our yard making things pretty. It's a wonderful feeling being able to help others find their "Aha! moments."
Let's work together to develop skills that are appropriate for you, so you can better manage the symptoms causing your emotional pain. Let's get you back on track starting today.

Margo Diego, MA, LAMFT
I became a marriage and family therapist because I genuinely believe it takes a village to navigate all the ages and stages of life. I love working with people to accomplish their goals, and it's gratifying when we can include all our chosen family in that process; all the while realizing along the way that we are never alone.
I enjoy working with individuals, families, couples, and adolescents using a solution focused orientation as we explore together all the possibilities available to us. I employ an emotional focus, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and person-centered approach to treatment. I utilize mindfulness and DBT skills to provide safe space for my clients to learn about their self, family system, and preferred future plans. I am also trained in EMDR.
I moved to Tucson in 2018 with my spouse and 2 children, and since that time have become a caregiver to my mother. As we've traveled and lived around the country, our home is always considered a safe space for our friends and chosen family. I love feeding people, anything outdoors, and barbeque.

Stephanie Spencer, MA, LAC
I believe that healing begins with feeling seen, heard, and accepted. Reaching out for therapy can be one of the hardest steps to take, and my goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment, pressure, or the expectation that you have everything figured out.
I work with adults, young adults, and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply feeling overwhelmed. Whether you're trying to heal from the past, improve your relationships, or better understand yourself, I'm here to walk alongside you.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Person-Centered Therapy while incorporating somatic techniques to help clients reconnect with both their minds and bodies. Every person brings their own story, strengths, and challenges to therapy, and I meet you where you are. Together, we'll build practical tools, increase self-awareness, and work toward creating a life that feels more balanced, connected, and authentic.
Outside of work, you'll find me spending time with my family and my partner, hiking one of Southern Arizona's beautiful trails, practicing yoga, taking short weekend trips, or enjoying time with family and friends. I'm also a lifelong animal lover and know firsthand the comfort, joy, and unconditional support animals can bring to our lives.
It would be an honor to be part of your journey toward healing and growth, and I look forward to meeting you.

Vanessa Carranza, Director of Operations
I believe that meaningful growth is supported by both nurturing care and a strong foundation. As Director of Operations at Manifest Joy Counseling, I help weave together the many moving pieces that keep our practice flowing smoothly. From scheduling and insurance verification to billing and day-to-day operations, I work behind the scenes to support our clinicians and clients, helping create a welcoming and stress-free experience from the very first interaction.
Born and raised in Tucson, I live with my partner and children and feel deeply rooted in the beauty of the Sonoran Desert. Outside of work, you'll find me spending time with my family, tending to my plants, creating art, or reconnecting with nature. I find joy in simple things—sunshine, creativity, meaningful conversations, and getting my hands dirty in the garden.
I graduated with Honors from Pima Medical Institute in Medical Billing and Coding and have honed my skills to operate with intention, organization, and care. I'm also a local artist who wears many hats (and crystals!). While I'm naturally an introvert, I value authentic connection and clear communication, and I take pride in creating supportive systems that help both our clients and our practice thrive.
