People may seek therapy for help with issues that are hard to face alone. Individuals in therapy can learn skills for handling different situations, making healthy decisions, and reaching goals. This is a joint process between you and your therapist.
Through couples therapy, you and your partner can gain insight, learn to resolve conflict and improve relationship satisfaction. You'll learn skills to solidify your relationship, such as open communication and problem-solving. Together we will address issues such as money, sex, parenting and infidelity.
The goal of family therapy is to help family members improve communication, solve family problems and learn to better understand each other’s needs. We can also help you and your loved ones find healthy ways to deal with changes in the family system such as, divorce, death, addiction, or mental illness.
Participating in a workshop can help us feel less alone in the challenges we face. Many people find learning and sharing with people experiencing similar issues to be extremely beneficial and sometimes fun.
